OR, what you can do, is to install a nail dead-centre in the rail, and attach your wire to that, so it will look like it's hanging from the rail, and you can easily swap the art later (and it will hang down centered in the same place).JChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09831757279235998895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8688737200861236433.post-52860636861630451952013-06-14T11:48:32.405-07:002013-06-14T11:48:32.405-07:00Thanks for the idea. I'm not sure it would work with the huge art in the stairway.Sharon Kwilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00204757096377140896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8688737200861236433.post-63406701962148956222013-06-11T20:55:02.299-07:002013-06-11T20:55:02.299-07:00what about using the removable 3M velcro wall hang...what about using the removable 3M velcro wall hanging things? We use those and there are no holes in the plaster-although they will occasionally take paint off when they are removed. Way better to add a little paint than put a hole in your plaster...in my opinion :)Bungalow13https://www.blogger.com/profile/01152015290925492503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8688737200861236433.post-29176337526631091742013-06-10T23:28:21.189-07:002013-06-10T23:28:21.189-07:00I really hate to put holes in the plaster, because...I really hate to put holes in the plaster, because I expect we'll regularly be moving the art around or changing it seasonally, but there are probably some areas where we'll have to. Thanks for the suggestion.Sharon Kwilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00204757096377140896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8688737200861236433.post-64553463954287808732013-06-10T20:59:56.155-07:002013-06-10T20:59:56.155-07:00We just put holes in the plaster, too. There's nothing magic about plaster ... except that it's hard and can crack unless you drill a pilot hole.

Connie in Hartwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09127877285792861166noreply@blogger.com
