Had t...Finally got my cameo 2 to cut 7.5 mil Mylar. Had to do at least do 2 passes (with feed option "Return to origin" and recut the same design). Setting: blade 9, speed 1, thickness 33. Also, I read you can lower the blade setting and do 3 to 4 passes at 60% instead of 90% to 100% strength. It comes in different weights and I have successfully cut several stencils that are .005. I've seen several YouTube videos where they cut the same product at the .007 thickness. Dura-Lar is a film that "combines the best features of acetate and mylar". There are quite a few options sold at the U.S. Cutter website. They have many relatively affordable options that exert enough pressure to cut mylar.
