Yesterday we went off to a picnic in the morning and in the evening we bought some furniture off craigslist (Thanks Storm, Kay & Robert for your help hauling and moving). Even though the coffee table stain isn't a dead-on match to the finish on the chairs, I'm pretty happy with the set, since the rug, the table, and the couches all came from different sellers!

We're hanging out at the house this morning waiting for the contractors to show up to start work on the basement.

Jeff was being productive with his time and started removing the planter on the back of the basement.
The current plan is for Jeff and I to head back to California tomorrow morning. We need the basement to be more complete before we have the POD delivered and I really can't live in a vacant house.
Looks like Shasta has made herself at home!
