Curtain Embroidery Started

This morning Jeff and Sharon spent a while stripping paint in the master bedroom. But once it got too hot to hang out up there with the windows open, Jeff took off to play in his new kitchen and Sharon finally got started on her embroidery project.

She sews pretty slow at this point. After about 8 hours of stitching, she really only got this much done. This project is going to take a while! At her current rate, the curtains will take 9 days each! Hopefully with practice her speed and consistency will improve. Some of the petals on the flowers need a bit more floss to fill the slight gaps. She'll likely go back and fix a few things tomorrow.
