Bad birdie!!! Then again, it wasn't MIA who forgot to lock her cage.... Sorry, I hope you can fix it. Not an expense you wanted to take on right now, I know. Hugs--K
This is our fireplace mantle. And Mia did have a good time. And, no, it was not her fault, but still not a good day for us. I really don't want yet another project that has to be done by December. =(
You should see a certain portion of the trim in our bedroom. We brought our foster dog home knowing that he had severe separation anxiety and house-destructive tendencies, yet we thought we could leave him alone for a couple hours since, gosh, we'd spent the whole entire weekend at his side. He should be okay. Right?
Had a front door destroyed this way. I had a foster dog which was to stay in the basement while I was at work. My grandpa let the dog out while I wasn't home and it clawed/chewed the front door. It was beyond repair. Horrible day.
Oh no! Is she up for adoption ;)
ReplyDeleteIf we found a good home for her, probably! =)
ReplyDeleteOh no!! Poor birdie, she was probably having the time of her life gnawing on that table.

ReplyDeleteOMG! Mia clearly doesn't understand historic preservation. So sorry.
ReplyDeleteOh, nooooooo!!! I was thinking, "Who scratched what?" But, not scratched, but CHEWED! Aaagggh!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I know how I would fix that. What did you have in mind?

ReplyDeleteYikes! I grew up with large birds, and have seen their destruction first hand...
ReplyDeleteWhat type of bird is she?
Mia is a double yellow-headed amazon. She's obviously an industrious wood destroyer. She did all this in about 2 hours!
