Jan Friday Night With Friends

I joined Cheryll, et al. again for the first Friday Night With Friends of 2021.  I got started early and worked through Friday night and then continued Saturday morning until I finished assembling the 64 blocks for the center portion of the Snake River Log Cabin quilt

Now that I've finished assembling them all, it's ready for the border. That is another 32 blocks I'll need to make.

    1. Yes, it's a pretty complicated block. It's not difficult, but there are a lot of pieces (48)!

  4. I love the way the blocks orientation changes the look of quilts. It is very effective.

    1. Thanks so much. Since I have so much extra fabric, I might try making more blocks and play with the orientation. It could be fun to see what it looks like.

    1. The blocks are not complicated, but there a lot of pieces. There are 48 pieces per block, but I found if I built some strip sets it sped up the process a bit.
